| 47x series
world clocks and world time clocks are designed
and manufactured to meet the requirements of the
most demanding, prestigious and reliability critical
applications in dealing rooms, command, control
and communications facilities, conference and reception areas. |
| Time, date and illuminated location information
is displayed using ultra reliable, colour and brightness matched
red, green, yellow or blue LED characters.
470 and 475 series units can display date information in one
of over 20 different languages. |
| Every 47x series world clock
is supplied with customer specified time zone location
names. 47xA or 47xN models have white printed location
names with optional interchangeable name-plates. 47xAIL30
or 47xNIL30 world clocks
have 30mm (1.2”) high programmable illuminated location
names and 47xAIL50 or 47xNIL50 units have 50mm
(2”) high illuminated location names. |
| All 47x series world time clocks may be programmed
using the IR handset supplied or by a PC via an RS232 serial connection.
47xN models may be programmed from a remote ethernet enabled
pc. |
| 47x series world clocks are designed for global use
and will operate from a 100-250v 50/60Hz ac supply. The clocks are
available in a range of high quality anodised or painted aluminum
case styles with versions suitable for wall mounting, single or double sided
ceiling suspension or flush mounting in a panel or a solid wall. |
| 47x series world time clocks may be used as independent
time zone displays pre-programmed for leap years, statutory time changes and time-offsets
for almost every global time zone time change. They may be synchronised from optional GPS, DCF
or MSF time signal receivers or be installed as part of a system controlled by time code from a central
4850 or 4860 series master clock. 47xN series units are synchronised via their 10/100Base-T ethernet
interfaces. |

| timekeeping & synchronisation |
 |
| 47x series time zone clocks will operate either as stand-alone units or synchronized from an external
time reference. |
| Stand-alone operation |
When used in stand-alone configuration the time zone clock maintains
time keeping from a high precision internal crystal oscillator.
The time zone clock is pre-programmed for leap-years, seasonal time changes
and time-offsets for almost every global time zone. |
| GPS time sync. |
47x series time zone clocks can be synchronised
to highly accurate GPS time signals by the addition of
a 488 series time code receiver sub-system. |
| DCF & MSF radio sync. |
47x series time zone clocks can be synchronised to accurate
DCF & MSF radio time code signals by the addition of a
484 series radio time code receiver. |
| w482 time code sync. |
The most popular method of controlling 47x series time zone
clocks in system applications is via means of multi-zone
w482 time code generated by a central 4850 or 4860 series
master clock. |

| Power supply |
All 47x series time zone clocks will operate from a 100-250v
ac 50/60Hz power supply. The power consumption is ‹0.15A
@230v per time zone displayed for 47xA or 47xN versions with printed
location legends and ‹0.3A @230v per time zone displayed
for 47xAIL or 47xNIL versions with illuminated location legends.
