Local synchronisation output : version
  E N NE
The local synchronisation output enables the clock to act as a master to up to ten other 4000 series clocks or calendar clocks displaying either time-of-day or stopwatch time using a simple single cable pair.

4000 series clocks are manufactured from aluminum extrusion and sheet in a range of case styles and high quality finishes to suit the most demanding applications.

Environment
  • Operating temperature: 0-50°C
  • Relative Humidity: 0% to 95% (non-condensing.)
  • Altitude: 0 to 3,000m
Timing accuracy
  • Each clock has a high quality quartz crystal oscillator - unsynchronised accuracy: 0.1 sec/day @ 20-25°C
  • When synchronised via an NTP/SNTP timeserver the clock is typically synchronised within 1-10 milliseconds of master clock timebase depending on network delay and jitter. (N and NE versions only)
  • MSF or DCF synchronisation: ±20mS of UTC when synchronised via an 484.02 (MSF) 484.03 (DCF) radio time code receiver (E and NE clock versions only).
  • GPS/GLONASS synchronisation: ±5mS of UTC when the clock is synchronised via a 488.HS3-GPS or 488.HS3-GLONASS receiver (E and NE clock versions only).
Electromagnetic Compatibility, Safety and RoHS2 Directives
4500 - 4699 series calendar clocks, when used in accordance with our recommendations, comply with the European Community Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC, Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC and RoHS2 Directive 2011/65/EU and conform to the following international standards:
  • EN 50121-4-2006 - Full London Underground and Network Rail approvals
  • EN 61000-6-2:2005
  • EN 61000-6-4:2007+A1:2011
