Choosing a Case Type For Your Wharton Digital Clock
You have chosen the right clock for your room but now you need to decide how it will be installed. We have a number of case types designed to give you the flexibility to position your clock where it needs to be while keeping the installation process as simple as possible.
Surface/Wall Mounting Case
For many customers our surface mounting case type is going to be the best option. These are supplied with brackets that are fixed to the wall and then marry up with brackets on the clock itself providing a simple and convenient way to mount your clock. These brackets can even be mounted with a 3 or 6 degree downward tilt for better visibility when installed very high up on a wall.
Single & Double Sided Ceiling Suspended Cases
For locations where clocks need to be suspended from the ceiling we have both single and double sided options. Depending on the size of the clock, there will be a single or multiple 20mm diameter steel tubes that it is suspended from. Tubes can be specified as any of our standard lengths of 50mm, 100mm, 300mm or 500mm and are also supplied with a 50mm square connecting section that allow you to hang the clock from a system such as Unistrut or connect your own additional fixings to. We are also able to provide custom tube lengths at an additional cost.
Flush Panel & Flush Backbox Cases
Sometimes there is a need to mount a clock flush with the wall, either just for aesthetic reasons or to meet certain requirements of an application such as space or ease of cleaning. We offer both a Flush Panel mounting case and a Flush Backbox case type to make this possible regardless of the wall the clock needs to be installed in.
The Flush Backbox case type is supplied with a steel backbox that can be mounted in a solid wall and has fixing holes in the back so that it can be secured in place. The clock then simply clips into the backbox from the front using a built in clip system.
The Flush Panel case type is intended to be installed in any wall or panel where you have access to the rear for installation and uses a simple set of clamp brackets to hold the clock to the wall/panel.
