Timing accuracy
  • Each clock has a high quality quartz crystal oscillator - unsynchronised accuracy: 0.1 sec/day @ 20-25°C
  • When synchronised via an NTP/SNTP timeserver the clock is typically synchronised within 1-10 milliseconds of master clock timebase depending on network delay and jitter. (N and NE versions only)
  • MSF or DCF synchronisation: ±20mS of UTC when synchronised via an 484.02 (MSF) 484.03 (DCF) radio time code receiver (E and NE clock versions only).
  • GPS/GLONASS synchronisation: ±5mS of UTC when the clock is synchronised via a 488.HS3-GPS or 488.HS3-GLONASS receiver.
