Why NTP and PoE Clocks?
  • You ensure that everyone has access to the correct, legally traceable, time information. All Wharton Ethernet-enabled IP digital clocks and NTP analogue clocks are automatically self-setting via NTP from your local or internet time server with automatic seasonal time changes and the appropriate pre-configured time-zone offsets for clocks showing the time in different time zones.
  • Simple, economical installation, using standard NTP Ethernet networking technology and RJ45 style connectors, via your existing local area network.
  • Easy system configuration and maintenance using free wMon® software.
  • Flexible Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows networked devices to obtain power as well as data via your existing Ethernet cabling and eliminates the need for a mains output at the clock location. Mains derived low voltage powers the clock via your standard Cat-5 cable using IEEE 802.3af power injectors mounted at a convenient remote location.
  • Digital Clocks with 170mm (6.7") 220mm (8.7") digits, World Time Zone Clock Displays and large Calendar and Countdown Clocks have 110/230V ac power supplies and are not presently available for PoE operation.

  • Wharton NTP digital and analogue clocks are ideal for installation in broadcasting, civilian and military command & control centres, hospital and other medical facilities, production and process facilities, schools, transport systems, trading rooms and all types of offices and public areas.
Wharton NTP digital clocks
  • Wharton Electronics manufactures indoor and outdoor NTP digital wall clocks with 20mm (0.8") to 220mm (8.7") high digits and suitable for use in applications ranging from control desk clocks to those requiring 100m visibility. The product range includes four and six-digit models with a 12 or 24-hour time display and bright, ultra-reliable, blue, green, red, white and yellow digits.
  • Most Wharton NTP digital clock models can be user programmed to show time only, alternating time and date or time and temperature (temperature display requires optional external temperature sensor)
  • Digital NTP Clocks have multi-function stopwatch or countdown timer functions controlled by the IR handset, a dedicated stopwatch control unit or by your external voltage free switch or relay contacts.
  • We supply an IR handset for time-setting, configuration and multi-function stopwatch control.
  • All Wharton products are designed, manufactured and tested to extensive International Quality and Performance Standards to ensure suitability for use in our customer's applications. For example, London Underground approves these clocks for use in all public and engineering areas of their network and some specific models additionally have Network Rail Infrastructure approval (PA05/03968).
Wharton NTP analogue clocks
  • Our self-setting, ultra-reliable analogue NTP clocks are manufactured by our Swiss partners with models suitable for indoor or outdoor applications.
  • All models are available with PoE power. Some larger models also have a 230V AC power supply option.
  • We offer two ranges of indoor NTP analogue clocks with dials of 25cm to 80cm diameter and two outdoor ranges with dial sizes of 50cm to 80cm diameter. All our analogue clock ranges offer a choice of dial styles.
